Jammy007
Does the spills grounding kit have to be declared to the insurance and if so would it affect my premiums if I bought one? Cheers peeps
Chris`I
Technically you must declare all mods. But mine was fitted when I got the car so didnt know any better
BulletMagnet
Wouldn't have thought so, because neither is it a visual mod you can see on the outside, nor is it a mod that adds power in any way. Of course I could be wrong.
Chris`I
All mods need to be declared technically otherwise they are in their right to null and void your insurance - ie no pay out if something happens. How likely this is to be found is down to you, if your car is second hand then just say it was already fitted and you thought it was OEM. Chances they'd bring it up are very slim, but they could do if they knew about it in an accident.
martinmac
I wouldnt worry about it bud, it was there when you bought it. I can imagine the conversation if you had to explain it to somebody over the phone
