nixy
My son is looking to sell a private reg that came with the car when he bought it. H20 GYM Probably good for someone in the water or gym business! No idea what it's worth - does anybody know a good place to get a valuation and any recommendations where/how to advertise it?
Andy
I believe http://www.newreg.co.uk/ will sell them for you....will no doubt take a large cut though! Could try ebay or Pistonheads.
nixy
ooh, just had an online valuation done of 700 - they will sell it for more than that, provide a new reg for the car and the buyer pays all the transfer fees. Not bad!

martinmac
I used a company to sell one some years ago. They gave me a great valuation and I then spent about 6 months getting lower bids before I gave up and sold it for more privately. Worth trying Pistonheads first. nixy
nationalnumbers.co.uk (the ones on pistonheads) but yeah, you're probably right Martin. Not to mention its just another pain in the arse job for me to do because he won't know what to do or want to bother doing it for himself! martinmac
Offer him a couple of hundred for it, my parents used to motivate me that way after they made a lot of money selling my stuff
nixy
ha, like your style! Don't think he'll fall for it though! Got him 1200 for his crashed bike and not so much as a box of chocs in return!

Beavis
Hi had a reg for sale a few years back with one of these company's and they put it up for £1350 and it never sold, as i think they over value them. Ended up selling it for £300 in the end.

lomoto
50 quid! For a laugh it's not worth a lot to me but for a small bung it'd be funny! Only problem is that it cost's £105 to put on retention, I think I may have a punt at it though ...may suit a Pub landlord or footballer
