rtbiscuit Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 This has been an awesome find, i was looking for a bodyshop to spray up my nismo body kit and i popped into ipsiwich accident and repair. mentioned body kit and the bloke in reception said "you'll need to speak to the blokes in the office next door; go on through". i happended to walk into the offices of team AFM racing who happen to be a BTCC team who built and anre racing one of the first diesel touring cars in this years british touring car championship. had a really good chat with them there a great bunch, was chatting with there driver and head mechanic, and they really know there stuff. not only are they linked to ipswich accident and repair (voted best body shop in 2008) but they also offer a whole load of other services. They will do pretty much anything you want. including: Custom body kit fabrication body repairs spray painting full race car setup servicing and mot fit any mods and body kits order any performance parts you want have a rollong road to tune cars will fit and tune turbos and super chargers. you name it they'll do it. they happen to be the guys who are fixing the greddy front lip i have, when iwas speaking to them i explained i didn't know they existed tried google searches and everything to find a specialist garage to work on my car. they kind laughed and explained that there rubbish at advertising properly. but they did give me there web address. http://www.teamafmracing.com its not the easiest website to access it won't load on my home computer, and i can only access it through an old version of explorer, won;t seem to load on firefox or safari or opera, so i might need to update my software, but they are worth checking out. i'm not trying to take business away from people like dixcel or CS, but they may offer some services closer to home for people in the suffolk area.
