Martin W
I have seen a few posts about condensation in the headlamps and Nissans's statement that it is not unusual for this to happen However, I have a slightly dirty inside to the headlamps, and what seems to be a slight ALgal green tinge INSIDE the main glass Anyone else had this problem? How do I go about getting the inside cleaned Is it possible without getting the oven hot and baking the lights apart? Any ideas welcome
Chris`I
Got a pic? The lense does have a UV type filter on it and can give a purple/green tint to it, but not quite what you describe. Due to the construction of the headlamp, I wouldnt expect you to be able to do much without baking it and taking it apart. Might be a good excuse to get Paul to work his magic

I thought baking would be the only answer. Damned expensive way of cleaning the glass though !!
marzman
Mate, its a nightmare to get the lens separated from the unit. I've done it on a spare headlight i had. Very messy, and the glue is an awful black chewing-gum like substance. Seriously, pay paul to do it...!
bronzee
Why don't you flick P15ULT a pm, he would probably know the quick way to get the headlights apart.

Pretty much the same on all headlamps. I know I would rather Paul did it as he has done many before and a good excuse to get some work done
