jerry3167
Hi all, Just wanted to know if an Exhaust, plennum spacer, Pop charger or any other stage one mod would require a re-map to make the most, or does the ECU learn? On my CTR mods were mapped on my KPRO ecu, then dynoed.. Cheers Jerry
martinmac
Sound only bud, the ecu cancels them all out. If yopu find anyone who can remap the ecu let me know.
M13KYF
you need a piggy back ECU to get the best forom your mods. Haltech is one exapmple
bobby
you are looking at roughly 20-30whp with a piggy back and a much better tune across the rev range!
lotuscc
UTEC piggyback is tried and tested. Various people can map it for you to give 10%+ power increase. Mine was tuned by Thor Racing in the Midlands.
jerry3167
Thats great. How much for the ECUs, and mapping costs? Anyone in London, or Surrey who can map, dyno etc? Jerry

Mine was tuned by Thor Racing in the Midlands. i thought the Utec from turbo xs was just for the WRX its not as pricey as the haltech at $1049 just didn't know it was usable on the 350. is it as good as the haltech? i don't know
lotuscc
Utec is around $800 (£600) Tuning would be around £
rtbiscuit
Utec is around $800 (£600) Tuning would be around £250 thats not so bad, more affordable than the haltech, which starts at £900 and then add tuning time
Ekona
The UTEC is $944 on Z1, so £686 in today's money + delivery + import taxes. Still not a bad option, however the lack of knowledge over here (relatively speaking) is what puts me off somewhat.

Ekona
Nah, cash flow won't allow it right now. I'm sure I'll be out there again later in the year/early next year, or I may even give my parents a list when they next go out to the house
