machineman1
Hi, if I buy a zed from an independent dealer and it's only 2 years old with a fsh and stamped book every 9000 miles, will the remaining year be transferable to me? Cheers.
martinmac
Yes, providing the servicing is done to the Nissan schedule you will get the full 3 year warranty.

MITZ@CougarStore
Is it a 60000 miles warranty? It’s 3 years or 60,000 miles, which ever comes sooner…

martinmac
It could well be that the previous owner tried to sell privately so had it serviced to save getting knocked down.
Gurjeet
I bought 2007 zed from a mitsibushi dealer in jan, had a year left on the warranty. Do i need to contact nissan to officially transfer the warranty over? And does the servicing need to be done at a main dealer to keep the warranty valid? Ekona
Warranty is transferred automatically as a right of the sale of the car, no need to do anything. Servicing needs to be done to OEM standards using OEM-quality parts. Basically you don't have to go to a main dealer, but it's really going to help your case should you ever need a warranty claim.
