givememorepower
Any one of you lot manufactured or bought a cycle carrying device to use with your Z? How much/where from?? Strange question I know as it's a coupe. But I like biking and fancied using my car for a change instead of my van. So I can feel cool. I have found these on the internet, but has anyone else bought one yet? http://boofsquire.com/index.html
Chris`I
I have this: Was made by another member, whos dad works in race car fabrication. Use the tow eye as a mount and has 2 stabalisers under the bumper to the crash bar. Requires 2 small cutouts on the bumper which I havent done since having it repaired. Not sure it will get used again now I have my Nismo exhaust on there I havent heard of any other UK members having bike racks or roof racks. Would be interesting to see someone having a Boofquire, they look quite good.
givememorepower
Coolio. Impressive engineering there, but I'm not up for making any cuts into my bumper if poss. I've drawn a couple of ideas down scavenging old bars and carriers myself, for welding with my dad's welder, but can't seem to find any decent rubber feet like the ones on the boofsquire. Chris`I
Yeah I'd be up for something like the boofsquire, looks less damging than my one! The one on the boofquire has HIGHLAND stamped on the side who appear to make gutterless roof racks. Guess it could be a case of working out which one boofquire use and getting hold of one. Looks like boofsquire just knock up the bit in the middle and modify the lengths of the roof bars to work with the Zed This looks similar to what they use: http://www.cargogear.com/infolib.aspx?l ... ofrackBjpg
givememorepower
Nice one. Wouldn't be too hard to weld a couple of bars in between one of those, or simply bolt them together. I have however just stumbled across this and was pretty impressed!! You could just use your boot lid instead of your roof to avoid probs with your airbags deploying. http://www.handirackuk.com/default.asp

I think there was a member on here that had something similar for his surf board though
