kashz
http://www.kwsuspensions.de/uk/30_Produ ... /index.php They dont do one for the zed yet but i have enquired and waiting for a reply they offer a conversiion package check the link out this is a great product.. you can now drive the short way home and the long way.. im guessing if they get a fair amount of request from z owners they will consider it
M350ZB
Would most prob effect the handling of the zed, and would be mega bucks .....
Stew
Was thinking it'd be perfect for you bud with the expensive kit that sits so low. No reason it should adversely affect handling if it's made right..... which it should be!
3FIDDYZ
Think Phil was talking to KW about this in the past. Works on the same principle as the Roberuta cups that Top Secret do for the Zed but a lot cheaper... Think it was about £2k as aposed to the Roberta's that are about 4k Roberuta cups are fitted on lambos and fezzas to raise the cars for speedbumps etc so they have no effect on the handeling what so ever! kashz
rather than buying the whole unit with suspension they offer the conversion so you can have it for front or front and rear... top secret one is way to expensive hopefully this will be within budget
3FIDDYZ
I run RS-R Sportsi* coilovers so probably wont work for me as an aftermarket... Judging by the scrapes on my side skirts I think I need it!
M350ZB
Still 2K is alot of dollar ....., but does look like a good bit of kit !

3FIDDYZ
Lets not forget crawling along at 2mph over anything not flat, having to judge if you will get down the slope without grounding your lip.... Oh and the balancing on the top of a speedhump before you slowly go down the other side of the speedbump so you dont load the suspension... And the face you have to make when you do scrape the sides and there is always some old codger watching you and they always make the same condesending face and you can imagine the tut uttering from their mouth..... Oh and the great "Do you mind getting out of the car whilst we go over this bump, we seem to be close"................. If it fits mine you can guess which way I will be going! M350ZB
No idea, Phil seemed to indicate it is would be good if there was a product like this for the zed, with a definate cost/price ?
3FIDDYZ
Saying that.... the kit cost for the porka with the varient 3's is about $10k http://www.staticxmotorsports.com/kwsus ... 71423.aspx For that I would be going for the full robertura topsecret kit http://www.topsecretjpn.com/coilovers.shtml

clarkie34
Might not be too bad if your already running KW suspension.
3FIDDYZ
KW susp is about what $2.5k so that means $7.5k for the kit... More than the Robertura and they are an established company.. You would have thought the new boy on the block would have been trying to undercut...
clarkie34
If I was to get the kit,I would just get the front done.
3FIDDYZ
True, suppose thats really what you need.... I have found I have caught the end of my side skirts next to the rear wheel as they slope down slightly...
kashz
got an email today from the boys at kw right they said to me that because i am running v1 they can supply a universal HLS2 which is only for the front... They said you will have to change the housing of the front strut as there will be not enough space for installing the HLS2. In future they will change the housing on coilovers so that customers only have to install the universal HLS, amd not have to change the housings. HLS4 is not possible as on the rear axle you don’t have a strut but spring and damper. They also said the delivery time for universal kits and new struts is approx. 2-3 weeks So iv told them interested and waiting for a figure possible group buy for kw owners if the price is right

Chris`I
This sounds interesting, will have to keep an eye on this. Ditto. I fancied getting the KW V1s at some point. Any idea if it works with V2/3? I'm sure when this was last posted, it wouldnt work with the V3s, I assume its becuse they have more to them the housing is not compatible.
