Mark Nahh its cool, i know what its like when you have been on a forum for a long time, and see the same old questions come up time and time again! I sympathise with you! I did read though, and nothing really directly answered my question, just kinda skirted round it...
AK350Z
Another question while im here..... Someone mentioned that 350z engines are French?? Is this true?? They saw it on Top Gear on Dave apparently?!!? No, Renault use a version of the Zed engine in some of their cars as part of a technology sharing agreement. Don't listen to the Nissan haters who say its a french engine. It's probably one of the most reliable lumps around, and there's no cam belt to worry about; chains baby! D4XNY
Yeah i got told no cambelt? So if it never has to have a cambelt change, is there anything else big it has to have done, or just the routine P1, P2, P1, P3 service etc....
matth76
On my last car the timing chains needed doing around the 80-100k mile mark (that's only if you hear chain rattle though). It may be different on the 350z. Depends how good the chain tensioners are too.

Dont worry about the P3, P2 and P3 are the same on the Zed... Nissan just charge you more!
R800NER
Popchargers are a cost effective replacement for your air intake/filter box, which is cheap and sounds great. It makes the car sound quite deep at low revs, but not too intruding and then when you give it some beans, it gives an almost VTEC like response with regards to noise. Don't expect any performance gains (ECU cancels out iirc) and it's primarily there to put a smile on your face for a few quid! I love the sound personally and I think this video demonstrates it very well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=GB&hl=en-GB&v=6sjQEHXsGek Especially the drive by noise!
