Gurjeet
Does anyone know if the headlamp washers draw fluid from the main reservoir for the windshield wipers, or do they have a separate tank? Looked in the owners manual to no avail. I press the button for the washers when the lamps are on full and there is a loud whirring noise but no water coming out. Any ideas? srobrien
Hey it should take it from the same tank as the windscreen wash (2 tanks piped together)...ala here http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19972 Perhaps you have a blockage. Gurjeet
all sorted. It would appear that there was enough fluid in there for the windshield but not enough for the headlamps. weird.
MITZ@CougarStore
It’s important to keep the fluid reservoir full, not a good idea to let the motor run dry without enough fluid for the headlight washer jets to work…

It's normal, windshield has higher priority, thus the headlamp wash will stop before the windshield will. It's also a good indicator to top up your screenwash. Gurjeet
fair enough. The warning light did not come on the dashboard though, even once the windshield had run dry. might need to check that one out
BulletMagnet
I didn't know we had a warning light for that.

BulletMagnet
Just filled up my washer fluid, it took a whole 5 ltr canister of ready mixed. Greedy bee-otch....
