IanS16
Just wondered if there is any sort of exhaust protection plate that bolts on underneath the car to protect the exhaust/y pipe. something like this http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthrea ... adid=22620 I keep scraping the flexipipe and ripping holes into it. If not, may be an idea for a fabricator. CS maybe? (and no im not-unlowering my car and I cant avoid speed bumps as they are on every road outside my flat)
MITZ@CougarStore
Ian, when the cars next with a garage/fabricator friend of mine I’ll ask him to have a look and see if something similar is feasible…
IanS16
Brilliant. Cheers mate - think they'd sell well with us lot of low riders
Toon Chris
I'd love one. I keep getting nasty scrapes from under the car and the braiding is getting worn away. Mine is a good 15mm higher than yours ,too!
ZMANALEX
These are very easy to knock up guys using sheet aluminium. The flexy part of the Y pipe is normally the lowest underbody part of the Zed. If there is enough interest say (20) then I can easily fabricate them, but I could not make a start until mid March. I run with one on the Roadster and it works very well. Cost would be around £125 + shipping. Alex.
IanS16
I'd be up for one Alex. Y pipe repair cost me £130 so if it stops it happening again its paid for itself! Glad some people agree that its a good idea - though i might get laughed at! Oh, and Mid March is fine for me You ever going to bring the Roadster on a meet Alex? Would love to see it

BulletMagnet
Brilliant. Cheers mate - think they'd sell well with us lot of low riders Since you said "low riders", why not install hydraulic suspension, rofl Imagine doing a "three-wheel motion" or even bouncing along to your favorite tracks. Toon Chris
Does the Y rattle against the protection plate? does it touch at all? If it is easy to fit and doesn't annoy me with rattly noises then it is a +1 for me.
