Digsy
How do you remove a stuck on number plate? Hairdryer, like a badge?

IanS
And if not, get the dental floss in play!
Trev-the-Rev
I removed a set from my Evo a couple of weeks ago that had been well and truly stuck on. In this instance I used a fan heater and dental floss and they came off no problem.
MITZ@CougarStore
A stronger alternative to dental floss is fishing line…

Ekona
The plastic spatula that comes with a George Foreman Grill is your friend here. Number plate adhesive is infinitely more sticky than badge adhesive, and I've always found said spatula, some hot water with car shampoo in and a detailing clay to be the best combination. Digsy
Good God, this sounds like hard work! Cheers chaps.
Toon Chris
Mine just pulled off by hand, no problem, as they were not originals. If yours aren't the ones that came with the new car then you will probably have aftermarket pads sticking them on - just pull hard!
Lexx
Little bit of heat and gently peel away. If you're left with any residue on the bumber, then use some autoglym SRP or similar - takes it off nicely
