ab350z
Its a 53 JDM with about 65k miles. Taken it to a local garage I've used with every car I've owned, Honda and Mitsubishi specialists but they've done work on the Z before. Wont need to go on the break tester Had my MOT done this month and the MOT tester said thay don't use the brake tester on this car and have to brake test it on the road (forgot why...something about the LSD, not sure....) Ian
How so? Because of the lsd. They have to test it on the road instead of the rolling road
Rob_Quads
Its also possible to test it on a brake pad? The place I used for MOTs (which is nothing special) has one and it measures all the forces when the brakes are applied by just driving up to it and stopping on it. Saves having to take the car out on the drive (also don't think thats very effective as its then down to 'judgement' rather than mechanics/physics giving quantiative results.)
