The Devil's Advocate (DA)
Hi Folks Had a wee look on pistonheads and seen the following, its not the GT version but very good price and mileage, Any comments appreciated DA http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/699716.htm
MITZ@CougarStore
Not sure if you noticed, but it states that ‘sadly the car is on the vcar’, which in short means VCAR = Vehicle Condition Alert Register – Have a look online for headings under VCAR…
Jay
I think it was on Ph a while ago stating that it had bad water damage or something like that!
martinmac
VCAR = Vehicle Condition Alert Register In short the vehicle has been subject to an insurance 'write off'. Could be as minor as a stolen/recovered or as serious as a complete mangling. There are Categories A-D, a search of the forum will explain which is which. The downsides are that dealers will be unwilling to take it in future p/x and private buyers will run a mile. Upsides, the possibilities of a bargain if you plan on never selling the car. Sarnie
That car has been for sale for about two years. He keep it below the market value to attract attention but its never sold. It is flood damaged. I'm 99% sure it was at the same time Nixy's zed was affected too.......
