nixy
got in my car last night after work and it took THREE attempts to get it started! This has never happened before. It made all the right noises but just didn't fire up - I had to pump the gas a little and on the third go it jumped into life. The traction contol 'slip' light came on as well. Once i'd got started it was fine and is fine again today - any ideas?
M13KYF
low battery perhaps with the traction control light coming on it sounds more electrical. Think its been said that it only takes a small amount of loss of the battery on a Z for it to have a impact, may be more so on a JDM one with it's smaller battery

Stew
I'd check the battery and where the BCM is as ab350z have a bit of trouble with his due to water ingress.
