Fletch
Hi all, I've met some of you before but i cant put faces to user names As some of you may know I used to work for BigPhil at ESR but unfortunately the place had to close. Ive been hunting around for a small holding in the area to set up my own company to continue work in the 350 community, I have found such a place and Im now sorting out applications and working through overheads etc.. ( not much fun for someone who prefers working with spanners and hammers ) I may need references from previous customers to put forward to the bank and landlord to prove previous work and to show I still have custom for the future. Any help from the club would be appreciated, and any advice from business owners would be most welcome Thanks folks Fletch
Stew
Unfortunately I never had work carried out for you but I did purchase stuff from Phil. If you are going to be selling stuff again (on any kind of scale) then I'd certainly purchase off you. Let me know and I can put that in writing.... Fletch
Thanks for that, ive kept in contact with some of the suppliers so i can still get hold of some things but I want to try and stay away from mail-order stuff and concentrate on servicing, parts fitting and repairs. Chesterfield
Ive had the following carried out by ESR/Fletch Polished fluid cans Bonnet lifters Strut Brace New discs and pads all round removal and replacement of both rear shocks Air intake P1 Service Although based over 130 miles away, I had no hesitation in making the journey to have the parts fitted. I also chose to have the service undertaken at ESR at the same time, as I prefered to have a knowledgeable and reputable company/person attend to the car. I have had experience in the servicing (and level of service) provided by mainstream garages for my 350Z and also for the company cars we have. In both cases I have decided that for both competitive pricing and quality of service that independent garges will receive my business for all those needs. In the specific case of the 350Z, and or any other similar performance vehicle in the future, I would be confident in the services of Fletch and would happily make the same 130+ mile journey to have the car serviced (or subjected to any additions/modifications) in the future. Regards, Chris.
IanS16
ESR/Fletch carried out the following work on my Nissan 350z: P1 Service Changing front disks and pads Camber & Toe alignment Installation of aftermarket Air Filter Installation of Aftermarket Y pipe (exhaust) Along with many other members of the 350z community, I did a 400 mile round trip from Birmingham to Sunderland to ensure my car was worked on by skilled specialists including Fletch whom I was confident would carry out the work to the highest standard. I would not hesitate to take my current or future cars to Fletch in the future. Kind Regards, Ian

Trev-the-Rev
Good luck with the new venture Fletch. I have never visited ESR but have purchased a number of items through mail order. As has been said already, this is a good earner so you really want to try and incorporate it as well as the servicing.

Chris`I
Where abouts are you based fletch? once i get my z i will be willing to travel if its within the 150 mile mark. Heard nothing but great things about ESR so far and wil most likely be buying stuff off you in the future. all the best. ESR were based in Sunderland, so likely to be around there. Only visited once (well twice in 2 days ) for a plenum spacer to be fitted. Workmanship was spot on as was the tea and biccies. Put TGM Sport in Fleet to shame in the tea and biccies stakes (you taking note Adrian!), I think its a northern thing
Shuck
I didn't get my Zed till ESR had announced its closure and was gutted. This thread is an instant pick me up, especially because I live in the North East Good luck Fletch, hope it gets off the ground.
