neil2185
Hello all, My zed is due a P1 service and I have been told to ensure the best quality parts and fluids are used to buy it yourself and then just get a garage to do the service and stamp the book, I have found a garage happy to do this and just need to get shopping. So what exactly is needed, I am assuming Oil and filter? How much Oil? Also what else is needed? Can anyone suggest some the best quality/brand to buy with out getting into silly money? My Zed is 3 years old and done 20k can anyone think of anything else that needs doing or wouldnt harm having done while its in the garage anyway to get it running smoother or impove anything! Maccaman
I'm confused. Servicing every 9000 miles or 12 months, shouldn't it be a P3? Or is the car coming up to 4 years old?

dcash5
Sorry to doubt the 'oilman' I was under the impressin it wa 4.5ltr capacity or 4.7ltrs if draining the filter aswell. Interms of oil you can't really go wrong if you order off opie oils, plus discount aswell
Maccaman
Thanks Martin, I stand corrected. Forgot the extra P1 but knew something wasn't right in my thinking as my last service was a P3.

martinmac
They will tell you that one tyre is near the limits and you need new brake pads Traders section With the money you save buy an induction kit and that saves them messing with the air filter in the future
