IanS16
How can I legally test the top speed of the Zed? I know there are drag tracks in the uk but I'm pretty sure they are only quarter mile. Any ideas? Also, where can you do it in Europe? I'm pretty sure you can get done on the Autobahn now cant you? (it may sound boring - i just want to know)

nixy
As far as I know Elvington in York has the longest run way in the country which is why Hamster off top gear tested that rocket thing there when he crashed. There are regular car events etc on there.

Just on the outskirts - very easy to find - lots of motor stuff goes on there. http://www.easytrack.co.uk/events/venues/elving.asp that long enough for you? IanS16
That's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. Wonder if the zed will run out of puff before the road ends?
3FIDDYZ
Thats why millbrook's highspeed bowl will help you out Ian as you will never run out of road! CAT driver training can help you out with a day there and you can get to grips with the other attributes of the car! Mini alpine circuit is cool
WoREoD
Its worth also saying that Aston and other manufacturers regularly use Millbrook's high-speed bowl to test maximim speed and sustained high-speed running. And hands-off at 110 mph in the top lane is an amazing experience!

GIXXERUK
I'm sure millbrook is better than elvington and i'm certain this will be reflected in the price
Darren-B
remember the 155mph limiter before you spend your money and be disapointed,
nixy
I'm sure millbrook is better than elvington and i'm certain this will be reflected in the price I agree. Elvington is more for rocket launching and millbrook will be more of an experience.
IanS16
remember the 155mph limiter before you spend your money and be disapointed, HKS SLD installed on my car so no limiter It stops getting faster when it runs out of steam

IanS16
I dont think so. At least UK cars are 155mph though - a restricted JDM is 112mph which can be very annoying. http://www.jdmperformance.co.uk/item_de ... rodID=1817
