neil2185
I have some strange interior light problems going on with my zed! when my interior light is set to 'door' they stay on all the time and will not turn off either by clicking the switch or by locking the car. when it is set to 'off' they do go off and can be turned on by clicking. There is also a very faint high pitched buzz when i lock the car when the light is set to 'door' anyone got any ideas all seems very odd to me! IanS16
I'd say one of your doors/bonnet/boot isn't shut properly or one of the switches are on their way out. Maybe the buzz is telling you a door is open too?
neil2185
See I dont think it is that, cus you dont normally get a noise unless your headlights are on, mine arnt. And the noise is very quite lasts around 10s when you lock it and then goes again! Its very odd
GIXXERUK
if you hear a beep when you lock the doors it means there is a door or BOOT still open.....
Chris`I
Going by what the guys are saying, I'd guess that one of the door shut sensors is shot.
GIXXERUK
Going by what the guys are saying, I'd guess that one of the door shut sensors is shot. Could be the boot not being shut correctly, which will result in a flat battery from the boot light if the car is left for a while

M13KYF
just looking at the service manual at it does say this when changing the licence plate bulbs Parking, License Plate and Tail Lamps Do Not Turn OFF (After Approx. 10 Minutes) AKS000VK 1. IPDM E/R INSPECTION 1. Turn the ignition switch ON. Place the combination switch (lighting switch) in the ON position. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Verify that the parking, license plate, and tail lamps turn OFF after approximately 10 minutes.
