ireynolds
With the cold winter nights drawing in and the spray from the road causing the car to become grubby much quicker than any other car I have owned (must be the shape - or the fact it looks so damn fine! ) I have noticed the headlight washers spray when the lights are on and the windscreen spray is used. My car has a nismo front bumper fitted and it was fitted before i bought it. Im just wondering why the strange washer things dont go back in on their own accord or if im doing something wrong? Can they be disconnected from that circuit? and whats the point in the button for them if they spray when the lghts are on anyhow?? Sorry to ask ridiculoous questions, but im bored of pushing them in with my finger once ive stopped and theyve deployed.
M13KYF
should go back on there own accord. Perhaps there not fitted correctly. You could clamp the pipe that feeds them. I don't know what damage that may do to the pump though
ZMANALEX
If you want to stop the washer pump from working then simply unplug the wiring block connector at the pump which is located at the headlamp washer water container behind the front bumper. Trev-the-Rev
As has been said, they should go back in on their own. Try gently pulling them out with your fingers and see if they go back ok when you let them go. If they don't, have a look to see if the stem is clearing the cut-out in the bumper sufficiently - it may just need enlarging very slightly.
