MattOak
Hey all, I just bought my 07 350z saturday and have already driven down a road that the satnav didn't know about... the road is at least 4 years old, maybe even 6 and the satnav didnt know anything about it. Anyone know where I can get the update for the dvd? Cheers, Oak
martinmac
Unfortunately I also spend much time "off road". Have a look at the date on the DVD. Havent seen one later than 06 but if yours is older than that I may be able to help. Welcome to the forum too Matt.
MattOak
Cheers! Is it better to whip it out and purchase another satnav?
martinmac
It costs £1800 as a retro fit so its up to you really, Have a look i the ice section, there are a few ways forward.
Stew
Keep a tom tom handy. At £100 it's probably better!
Chris`I
Keep a tom tom handy. At £100 it's probably better! +1 If you dont care about keeping it, you may be able to eBay it and make some money to pay for having an aftermarket unit fitted professionally. Plenty of stuff to consider in the ICE section
MattOak
So its possible to utilize the satnav controls, and make it look likes its meant to be there, rather then have some dodgy bodge job fitted?
GIXXERUK
Replacement updated discs cost £280 from nissan but as the guy told me, they take approx 2 yrs to develop so they are out of date when you buy them much better off with a gps based system, real time monitoring
