Martin W
I'm obviously not cut out for this. I set out today to 1) Change my 04 Stop/Tail for a T20 LED 2) Change the Indicators for the SIlvatec Chrome indicators that a lot of you use Rear lights off - no problem - even in the teeming rain. I followed the instructions in the guide section on here to find that there is no way I could get my arm far enough down to change the Indicators. And I can't work out how to get the Stop/Tail light out of the housing for fear of breaking something. Any ideas anyone?
GIXXERUK
Brake lights removed, reach down and turn the bulb, its a bit tight but i did mine that way, use wife/girlfriend/mums arms if they are thinner

What about removing the brakelight? is it just a very firm twist? or a bit of leverage somewhere?

GIXXERUK
the plug on the light connector has a lug you have to push in to remove it, push that in with a screwdriver and pull the connector

clarkie34
So you have to take the rear clusters out to change the indicators.
Martin W
So you have to take the rear clusters out to change the indicators. cluster removal only a 2 minute job. But I now need to find someone who can squeeze their hand into a tiny gap underneath the clusters
Chris`I
So you have to take the rear clusters out to change the indicators. Yup. Its easy though, only 3 bolts on each side along the top of the light To remove the connectors turn them 1/4-1/2 turn and it should just come out. Assuming you used my guide, I cant see how you can get it wrong http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... indicators

Chris`I
All good then Yes they are a sod at first if they've never been touched since the car was built. Just need to persude it a bit. On an old car I had used a screwdriver on one of the tabs and walloped it. Got that one out
