lotuscc
EVO mag lists them all: 276: 6.1 296: 5.8 309: 5.5 Autocar lists the 276 as 5.8 (probably the most reliable figure - they do the most comprehensive tests)

Jotun
I got a time of 5.4secs using my mates g tech meter in the summer I have a 276 bhp model and using the same meter today (also thanks to a mate) I got a 0-60 of 5.97 secs. Chickened out before the 1/4 mile though as I'm a law abiding citizen
Chris`I
The other thing to consider is the torque curve. Bar the MY07 complete re-engineering of the engine, the ones before, although increasing in power top end give away torque low end. Was speaking to Phil and he has customers who want the original engine, as day to day its more driveable. I think the MY07 does it all, but you cant really mod them. All depends on what you want to do with it.

All depends on what you want to do with it. Nissan stated at the time of introduction that the second generation of the engine had a flatter torque curve. If you want lots of extra toque for the second generation engine then you can fit a great mod: Motordyne lower plenum (adds around 15lbs of torque).
