It's not very quick but its decent. If insurance isn't too much of a problem then I'd recommend a 1.8 or a 2.0 one. As I say, nothing wrong with the 1.6, it's just a bit gutless at motorway speeds. mike150 Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 I would recommend a 115bhp TDCI focus Zetec, I had 5 foci, 2 115 TDCI's where great, nice sporty suspension, 45mpg and go well, group 5 insurance. The ST170 I had was crap, crashy ride, it bottomed out on roads you could tear down in the TDCI and 25-30mpg. The petrol focus is hard to run if the anual mileage is high.
