ma'z'y
Seems like a daft question but what does this button do? in icy conditions the snow button seems to restrict power to the wheels but does it affect traction control setup and the like, does the power button give you more power or change gear ratio perhaps? also does this have any effect whilst driving tiptronic? marzman
Snow mode cuts about 80% of the power, so you put your foot down, and you dont go anywhere. Sport mode changes gear later than normal mode - so you use more revs. This doesnt affect the tiptronic mode. Also, i dont know if this is a placebo effect, but i think the throttle response is better too when in sport mode.
ma'z'y
Thanks mate, i thought it was something along those lines, it definatly feels more 'eagar' to go when in sport mode, wonder if anything else is adjusted to cause this. rtbiscuit
i presumme this is for autos only, as i haven't seen any sport buttons, or snow buttons
