I was about to install a new alarm to my g/f's car at the weekend, but upon opening the dash up, I've found a fully wired in Clifford g5 alarm. She never knew it was there and the previous owner didn't supply any key-fobs... After further inspection (and checking various installation guides/etc.) I'm pretty sure it's been left in 'valet' mode. I imagine there's a good reason for this (such as the thing doesn't work!), but I'd like to have a go and see if I can get it running. ...So I've picked up a couple of suitable 2nd hand key fobs of ebay which need programming - apparently I can do this with 'CliffNet' and a cable to the alarm? I've downloaded CliffNet off the Clifford website, but still need the connection cable... I know it's a long shot, but does anyone local to Herts have a suitable CliffNet cable that I could borrow to try this out?
