NWZ
Just gauging interest, tomorrow I'm having a full set of Falkens fitted. Rather than hand over a really good set of Michelin Pilot Sports with approx 3.5mm tread to the garage (who I am sure will flog on anyway) - I was wondering if anybody would be interested in them maybe for a track day? They're all in really good condition, no feathering, no punctures and the tread wear is even across the tyres. Cost me £750 originally. Collection only due to the weight - North Wales / Cheshire area. Make me an offer - and I'll see if it's worth me keeping hold of them. PM if interested. Beavis
Why are you changing them Mark if they have 3.5mm left?
NWZ
2 things really, I wanted to get a new setup before the winter kicks in and secondly I don't have much time after tomorrow to get them fitted. And don't really like running them under 3mm. 1/2 mm will probably only last about 1k miles do you think anyway?
Trev-the-Rev
But why are changing from MPS to Falkens when imo Michelins are a better tyre.
NWZ
Price £436 vs £700 and thought I'd give the falkens the experience

Sarnie
Price £436 vs £700 and thought I'd give the falkens the experience £700? You can get them miles cheaper than that...........
