Stew
Alright, my sister has been complaining to me that her Quashqai auto doesn't change gear quick enough. I mean it sounds like it's in sport mode holding the gears instead of very short changes. I just wonder if any of you could shed any light on it? I have no idea! There is probably a sport button that she's pushed.....

Stew
I guess I'll have to have a look Dave. Just wondered if others (there are some owners on here) could shed some light on it. I'll have a look though.
jim
What model does she have, Stew? Ours is the 2.0 litre petrol with the CVT box and it doesn't sound like that's the one you're talking about.
Stew
I think it is Jim. It's the top spec model with a few (most) options in it. I don't know much about it but think it's 2.0 definately with auto box.

I don't know much about it but think it's 2.0 definately with auto box. If it's the CVT box, the gear changes are seamless and imperceptible. It's also very deceptive to drive - you don't realise how quickly you are accelerating until you check the speedo.
