stanski
So its been 3 weeks now since I got a chance to wash the Zed - its killing me that I cant! Too busy with working at the weekends and by the time I get home mid week its pitch black !! Damn this weather! 3 weeks and 2K miles of road grime on it - that Blackfire wax better be protecting it!! The wheels - damn it the wheels are just disgusting! I am getting so desperate I am even considering a wash and wax pressure wash at lunch - anyone St Davids park way can recommend somewhere nearby - no way am I taking it to a car wash - manual or otherwise!!! Now it looks worse than this taken last Friday - its got designer road dirt stripes on the bonnet!

Stew
Mike and Bec's house! You got light at your house? The wax will be doing fine, I gave mine two foams with megs shampoo plus and a quick mit and rinse bucket and it came up spanking. Took about 20 mins including setting up and tidying up! stanski
Watch you don't jerk forward into your appliances! Ha ha I decided not to make any applicance comments - but there is an evil looking Dyson DC01 vac lurking in the background very near his wing! nixy
I can't believe you let your car get that filthy! I have been known to wash mine in the dark - but then again I can do it round the back without the neighbours laughing at me - not like at your house. On the plus side - the muck is probably so thick by now that you have got protection from stone chips etc.
SunsetZed
I'm probably 'working from home' on Friday so that I can squeeze a quick wash in the daylight in before the London - Brighton run as I'm going to the Horses on Saturday (not in the Zed, can't have it getting that dirty!) Chris`I
Trip back from London and 9 days parked under some trees, staying well out of this think we need an emergency bottle of fairy liquid (oops sorry thats the competition - erm I mean Persil!) Wash your mouth out young man! No way fairy or any other washing up liquid is coming near my Zed! It strips off all the protection you put on it (which can be good if you want to start again). Keep some proper car shampoo in a small bottle for those duties
stanski
Thanks for that Nic - yup its more aero dynamic now with all that oil from leaking cars all over it - slip through the air stream! Sunsetzed thought you were going to offer to nip up to Wales and wash it for me!!! Chris I cant use my expensive hair shampoo on the car - blimey I am not gay you know! (even though I like fiat 500's!!) I have just done a search for jetwashes around the local area - hmmm not looking good so far....
