clarkie34
After visiting ESR last Sat and the recent cold weather my car was looking a bit of a state come today. So after putting 3 layers of clothes on i decided to brave the elements and wash my car only to find my hosepipe had frozen solid which took me 15 mins to defrost. Some pics. See how long it says like that, probably end up doing it again come Sunday.

Adriank
Looks ace, iu tend to wash the car less in the winter, but still try to do it as often as i can, it gets dirtier quicker in the winter aswell though

H5
Looking good Wayne. Mine is in the garage having the work done over a much longer and lazier period of time! Thanks Rob,what are you having done? Nothing substantial mate, just working on each panel at a time from a detailing point of view, will probably take some of the interior out as well and so a full job on that too. New bits will probably be brakes over the winter, just need to look at when I'll have time to do the work. Small chance of a new exhaust / rear end but not sure yet. clarkie34
I think a new exhaust is a must.So are you doing a full on detail? I have also been looking at rear bumpers but cant decide on which one. Think my next mod will be side skirts probably after xmas.
H5
Yep, full detail. Washed it, stripped it, clayed it, washed it, and so far I have tested some new stuff on one half of the bonnet. Got some new Einszett stuff, and more Jetseal. Also trying Collinite hard wax with a view to building layers of it up ready for show season, with a bit of P21S (R222) just before a show. Am trying to correct minor scratches and swirls on the way too, hence me taking my time on it!
clarkie34
If you have the space and a spare car to use then you might as well strip it back and take your time over winter. Just wish i had a double garage. Then the other half would never see me.

I've just bought a new Kestrel DA polished and some PB SSR to try on mine. Will let you know how I get on correcting me swirlies
