Winter wash

After visiting ESR last Sat and the recent cold weather my car was looking a bit of a state come today.

So after putting 3 layers of clothes on i decided to brave the elements and wash my car only to find my hosepipe had frozen solid which took me 15 mins to defrost.

Some pics.

Looking good Wayne. Mine is in the garage having the work done over a much longer and lazier period of time!

Thanks Rob,what are you having done?

Nothing substantial mate, just working on each panel at a time from a detailing point of view, will probably take some of the interior out as well and so a full job on that too. New bits will probably be brakes over the winter, just need to look at when I'll have time to do the work. Small chance of a new exhaust / rear end but not sure yet. :)

Yep, full detail. Washed it, stripped it, clayed it, washed it, and so far I have tested some new stuff on one half of the bonnet. Got some new Einszett stuff, and more Jetseal. Also trying Collinite hard wax with a view to building layers of it up ready for show season, with a bit of P21S (R222) just before a show.

Am trying to correct minor scratches and swirls on the way too, hence me taking my time on it!
