bronzee
Apparently it's not rated as highly as the previous one, but still understandably popular. Enough so they've signed him for another 3.

marzman
Worst film ever. Im not kidding, i fell asleep for 15mins in the middle of it. Granted, i was tired, but it was just an absolute load of crap. I loved Casino Royale, but this was pants.
neo
i didn't rate casino royale at all, so i'll give this one a wide berth
SunsetZed
I enjoyed it although it was a bit fast moving in places, nowhere near as good as Casino Royale though.
M13KYF
anyone of the Bourne films is better. Felt like scenes had been cut from it the way the film jumped around.
stanski
Come on folks can you please give us a proper Club film review - without giving away plot ?? Bit more info
bobby
Considering that the new movie is a continuation of Casino Royale....It makes sense. IMO, Casino royale was the story of 007's first outing. He got whooped by a hot chick. Went a bit nuts. Finds out the chick was forced to con him and he now turns red. New movie picks up from that. Story is very simple....find the people who made an arse out of him by using a sorry little chick. Chase bad guy kill bad guy...kill some guy in a chase who is bad... find bad guy and chase again... Perfect ending to the story of bonds initiation to secret service! But the editing of the whole movie does look like a bourne wannabe...but then again any movie trying to do the bourne style will always come 2nd...so you cant blame bond for trying to make it modern...just bad luck that bourne is way too high a target to hit! stanski
Cool thanks for that I love the Bourne films but also love the Bond films of old The Bourne films are very different, a bit more gritty and smarter on the script - its not all about gadgets - infact they dont have any gadgets do they more about a highly trained killing machine outsmarting his makers while Bond is more a killer with all the toys and the law on his side? I hear they are making another Bourne - I hope its not going to be spoilt - there is a shelf life to that series and should'nt be overstretched for the sake of more dollars! sl114
I have to say, i absolutely loved it. You cant look at it as a film in its entirety, you have to see it as a continuation of Casino Royale and also part 2 in a possible 4 part series. The reason I thought it was great was because the film is capturing how Bond grows as a character and sets up why he is in the past movies. The film is quite Bourne Esq., however that is the style of a lot of action films these days and I feel makes it so much more real. For example, Mr B paragliding over waves and the whole ice building scene, which I found rubbish. This is a lot more realistic and I think all the characters play a very good role in ensuring that the future Bond is set up in a way that you can tell he has had a hard first part to his career in the SS. Overall I say it was a 10/10 and I really look forward to the next one. Stevie - I did not have a suit on, however I did have a suit jacket on as I went from work. I was also invited to the premier and a screening two weeks ago, but I was not allowed to go as Sarah wanted to come with me and it would have been me and another person - not Sarah.
