verma
Hi, Just out of curiosity I was reading info regarding the LEDA rear OEMS and most people were saying a top mod necessity so just wondered what people top 5 styling mods were? To help people like me who have standard but are starting to looking into making their zed's a lil bit more special? 1 - LED rear OEMS?? Stew
Well it's all personal. 1 - Rear LEDs (oem after 2006) 2 - Stubby aerial 3 - Spacers if keeping standard wheels I think that would tidy up a car.
martinmac
If I was starting again the 5 that I would choose would be; 1/ Induction kit - Noise 2/ Exhaust - Noise 3/ Rear lights,- Look good and easier to see. 4/ new tyres - Safety 5/ Coilovers - Handling
tmJak
Depends on the model - I'd say wheels as I don't like the standard rays, but GT4 drivers have nice wheels anyway IMO. Definately spacers tho on standard wheels
GIXXERUK
depends on your budget and how long you intend to keep it, no point saying exhaust, coilovers, wheels unless your prepared to take the poor residuals as cars are experiencing atm and take a big loss on the mods you can spend 4k in no time
Ian
you can spend 4k in no time You can spend that easily on a decent set of wheels & coilovers

Stew
thats why I went for reasonably priced mods that add style! Must add actually..... 1 - Rear LEDs (oem after 2006) 2 - Stubby aerial 3 - Spacers if keeping standard wheels 4 - Zed badges (replace nissan burgers) 5 - bumper reflectors There. That's less than £500 that will make the car look better.

lilsheepshagga_turbo
personally i feel the top 5 must do's are : (1) change the rims (2) some form of bodykit.... the Z really suits a spoiler (3) carbon everything (4) exhaust.... i know its not a purely aesthetic thing but standard tail pipes look a bit pance (5) stubby aerial -ho

bronzee
I'm happy with the process my mods are taking. 1. Tyres, ie getting rid of stock Potenza's for something good a long time ago. 2. Full suspension replacement. 3. After market rotors and pads. 4. Rims to accommodate bigger brake kit. 5. Big brakes, and braided brake lines. 6. More power..... and necessary engine work to maintain reliability. 7. Probably some Samco hoses and a few more aesthetic things at some stage. My thinking, no point boosting the power, if the handling isn't great and you can't stop on a dime/penny. Haven't done really made any exterior aesthetic changes yet, very un-girl like I know. I quite like keeping the Zed a sleeper looking car, delivering a surprise.
