SunGodRA
Hi guys - just got in after a very long walk after abandining my car in the middle of no-where! (I wish I had AA cover!!) Anyway, at low speeds I changed gear from 3rd to 2nd and the clutchpedal didnt come back out, and the car went into neutral. Managed to pull over and stop (albeit on a nasty bend - someone nearly hit me!) I had a look at the pedal, and could quite easliy pull it back out by hand, and depress it again but it stayed down again. Suffice to say it looks like the linkeage between pedal to clutch has failed. So my question is...does the 350z have a clutch 'cable' or is it some form of hydraulic system?? If its cable is it easy to replace? If its hydaulic, any suggestions? Thanks, Dave
Trev-the-Rev
It's hydraulic. This problem has been flagged-up here before and if you try a search you should be able to find it.
dcash5
Hydraulic, sounds like a bleed is required
ZMANALEX
Nissan recall on this issue, best to contact them to see if you are covered. All Nissan dealers should be up to speed on these clutch service bulletins.
