nixy Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 I was on a course earlier this week about research. Boring websites like justis and the statute law database etc - mind numbing really. BUT a couple of useful websites that came up were http://www.intelways.com and something called the wayback machine on http://www.archive.org The intelways site is a search engine that gives access to a wide range of research tools covering differnt types of info. You only have to do one search and then click a tab for the type of resource you want (video, image, reference, news etc) Try it and you'll see what I mean. The wayback machine on archive.org lets you put the web address of any website in and you can look at what the website looked like several years ago and what information was on it. This is useful for stuff that has simply disappeared. May be of use to some of you or not as the case may be. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to stuff like this - i love research. Quote
