ClarCE
Morning all, Got busy last night and fitted my K&N Typhoon along with my Summit brace (cheers for the speedy delivery BigPhil!). Apologies for the dodgy camera phone picture.. As you can see I need to get busy with the degreaser at the weekend, anyone got suggestions on a good cleaner that won't eat all of the rubber if I overspray it? Now I've done this, I going to have to get myself the obligatory carbon covers and slam panel Wheel spacers should be here today, so thats tomorrow sorted along with my dodo juice

3FIDDYZ
Hows the fit on your typhoon lid?
Trev-the-Rev
Looking good. Gunk is a fairly friendly degreaser I find. If the spacers you're getting are the Eibach bolt-on ones, I would strongly recommend you use locktight on the spacer nuts.
p1tse
sweet what does the K&N Typhoon include? what made you pick this over nismo, popcharger etc? have you pics of the scorpion, or even better video clips of the zorst and intake? ClarCE
Hows the fit on your typhoon lid? Not bad, but not as good as I'd hoped. Can't hear it rattling around under there, but thats probably because the whole things quite LOUD now... Have you had probs?

You can see how badly the scorpion fits in my detailing post, and the experience I had fitting the thing in my exhaust post... Theres a vid on you tube, it does sound awsomely awsome.. And the fit is better now than it was. It will be perfect when I've got some more time.. Heres a vid on youtube of another members: I chose the K&N as I've always had them in the past so knew what to expect.. And because it came with pretty much everything in one box
3FIDDYZ
Yeh my lid dosnt fit too well, had to do a bodge and run some thick insulation tape, no bother though, sounds great! Kit includes, the chrome pipe, air filter box/heat shield with carbon lid, ever lasting air filter ad then a pipe and scoop that goes down to the grill area of the car thus forcing lots of lovely cold air into the engine! Nice bit of Kit but the carbon lids are hit and miss!!
