bronzee
Hey guys, we had a club tyre tech night the other night. Found out that my much loved GS-D3's are being fazed out. Replaced by F1 Asymmetrics, at first my utter horror, asymmetrics I'm not normally a fan of, but I guess maybe I will have to be. So have any of you tried they F1 Asymmetrics yet, if so what did you think, particularly in the wet, and what's your driving style to give some indication. They seem to rate highly from all the research and on some of the forums, but would prefer grown ups opinions. http://eu.goodyear.com/uk_en/tires/repo ... /index.jsp http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/tes ... sp?ttid=92 I've tried most tyres on the market, not interested in Toyo's, Pirelli's, Kumho etc, etc. It's usually me advising people about tyres haha, but these are brand new to the market in NZ (arriving in a few months), so know one has tried them yet. Trev-the-Rev
We can't get the F1 in standard size (225/45/ 18) fronts in the UK. Only the rears. Another reason why I use Pilot Sports.
bronzee
Same here the sizing for 17" isn't right, but that won't be a problem, any excuse for new rims. Not easy to get correct sizing here for the stock rims, was the same with my S15. Nissan often seem to go for odd sizing.
