interior question maybe to do with revised version

went to local nissan dealer to have a look at Zeds

 

the early version and newer models were different inside.

 

the newer one had silver type knob surrounds for heating etc and the hazard button under the knob/dials. and silver around gear shifter.

 

can someone confirm, if this was a change for newer models and when did it first appear. i assume not in the 276bhp model and appeared on the 296bhp model?

 

if so, was it on the gt4 anniversary model?

i like the newer shifter surround too, and the little extra storage on the new one, where the old hazard light is.

I hit the heated seats button more than the hazards

sat nav controls are much better on the newer car, much prefer it to the dam remote in the model i have.

Its the heated seated buttons for me too, I don't notice till I start getting rather warm at the back lol

is it possible to update the older interior to the newer one, with the better looking temperature controls etc. ?

aparently the new controls have different wiring to the old ones. May cause problems unless you're clever, unlike me. Can always get the interior re trimmed. . .

 

New interior is better but still a bit rubbish
