kustard
Hi all, I was just in town and the air bag warning light started flashing on the dash. I did a quick search on here and saw there was a way to reset it. I've followed the steps, bit it doesn`t seem to have worked. I just wanted to make sure I ws doing it right before looking for anotehr solution: 1 - turned the ignition from off to on 2 - Waited for about 5 secs for the warning light to go off and then immeditely turned the ignition back to the off position 3 - waited for 3-4 seconds 4 - repeated steps 1-3 two more times (3 in total) 5 - After waiting the 3-4 seconds on the final go, turned the ignition back to on. the light still flashes Any ideas? All help appreciated! Thanks Alex
Stez
Have you been messing under your seat because there is a connector for the seat airbag underneath that is a poor fit and any disturbance under the seat can upset the joint. Just locate it and remake the connection and see if that cures the problem.
3FIDDYZ
Agree with Stez on that one, put your hand underneath and push all the plugs together

kustard
Thanks for the replies all. It seems to have just fixed itself - stopped coming on about lunchtime today. Hopefully it won't rear it's ugly head again!
Z Boy
Had this the other day too, fiddled with all the connections under the seat and did the reset and it's been fine since! I think if you have stuff knocking around under the passenger seat it can mess with the connection on the airbag or something.
