I took 2 people out when I sold my previous car, never really think about something like this happening. I presume they came across like decent people? As has been said, glad you are ok. Hope the police get them and the car soon and its not damaged. What I’ve done when someone comes for a test drive is ask for their licence and lock it in the house. If they are honest they won’t have a problem doing that. I guess that's where a tracker or cut-out device come into their own (bloody hindsight) but I guess you can't be too careful these days.
