It will reset everything, ideally you need a back up of the settings. Have you changed the password and username? You reset it by putting a paper clip into a small hole at the rear. But be careful this may loose the internet for you if you don't know the router settings.

 

Be prepared to re install the router

Not used it too much but connection hasn't dropped off while I've been online and when I've gone to connect it's worked.

 

Worth doing the upgrade if you have a misbehaving southern (Gay) modem / router / internet type thing!
