Derek_ZR
Well as many of you may know - I absolutely hated my MG ZR. Today I traded it in for a new Clio - it's the old model but brand new and is the 1.2 16V Campus Sport model. Got imo an excellent deal and with 4 new tyres due on the ZR at over £100 each, problem after problem, group 7 insurance on a 1.4 and no manufacturer backup since MGR went down the tubes it was time to get rid of the shed. Clio due end of next month so I will post a few pics up when it arrives. Spec on Clio is pretty good and I can expect far lower running costs not to mention it being a new car again with full warranty. Told my mum about it tonight and she asked what car I was selling to get it - the MG or the 350ZR - I laughed The Clio won't be a great car in everyones eyes but a small car to get me to and from work will suit me fine. Digsy
Go on, how much did you lose on the MG if it's not too painful to share?
Derek_ZR
Depends on what way you look at the figures - but just £3900 in 18 months which isn't bad. Comparable to most cars in it's class. If it wasn't a heap of junk I would have kept it as it was under warranty for the full 3 years.
