dSB350z
Hi My car was involved in a crash before i bought it and the airbags deployed, the car was fixed and now looks great and you could never tell it was in a bump except that the airbag warning light remains on, on investigating further they have only replaced the driver airbag and not the passenger airbag, so basically i would like too get this done so does anyone know where i can get it done other than a dealer because it will be expensive at a dealer or should i say more expensive lol. Or is there a way of deactivating the warning light ? after searching on here for hours i found out that it does not simply have a bulb to take off, i dont mind it not having a passenger airbag as such i just want too get rid of the warning light its getting on my nerves lol. GIXXERUK
unlike a lot of cars the passenger airbag cannot just be turned off, i would try an accident repair center, they must come across this all the time, there must be a way to fool the sensor
dSB350z
Cheers, like you say hopefully there will be a way too fool the sensor or something like that even more so now because ive just had a price of my local dealer too replace the airbag and repair the dash area £1200. GIXXERUK
it can be done, the zed seats have airbags and when you replace them you have to put a resistor or bridge in the connector to fool it iirc try a search on aftermarket seats on here and my350z.com
