Hursty
Rite just got off the phone to the guys at the clarion repair centre and they said removal of such is a bit of an arse!! Looked at the post a few bellow and the links on the 350z-tech site and the examples dont look too bad but they neither have BOSE nor Sat Nav. So wondering how much more of a pain this will be or whether i should just book the car in at Nissan?
stanski
Rite just got off the phone to the guys at the clarion repair centre and they said removal of such is a bit of an arse!! So wondering how much more of a pain this will be or whether i should just book the car in at Nissan? Hiya well it took me a while as I was being very careful and taking pics for a guide but it should take you no more than 30 mins and only 2 screwdrivers required - as I mentioned before - its been designed not thrown together - just give it a go - if you take it to Nissan its going to cost you about £300 in labour costs!! for 30mins work!! Trust me its straightforward to do http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15532 good luck and let us knwo how you get on

Andy
He's talking it up mate, it really isn't that hard. I have a '53 plate as well and if you take your time and don't force anything you should be fine
stanski
well form the other guide I based mine on the only difference is the plastic cover you just have to clip out and take the satnav out? Cant really be that much harder? If your near Manchester (I keep saying this!! ) I am happy to pop round and give you a hand taking it out? But your in Bath so erm nooo
Ian
Its hardly any different to stanskis guide. Mine is a 53 plate and came out the same way as in the guide
dcash5
Tis a Piece of cake ... Hayes would give it 1 spanner, hardest bit is unplugging wires! Did mine in about 30 mins and that was with a satnav aswell! Dan
Hursty
Cheers all, going to have a bash at it myself this week hopefully if i get a dry evening!! Will let you know how it goes! Stan thanks for the offer mate
dcash5
Just follow the guide, the only difference is the sat nav buttons which just can be levered up and unplugged, be careful no to damage the plastic, other than that its exactly as the guide for ones without sat nav explains
Hursty
Came out easily in the end Now not sure to replace it with something different now that its out; being re-furbed under warranty and for the money i could get on ebay for it could get something nice
