sonny
Hi guys, Not sure if anyone else has had this problem but yesterday whilst driving my Zed, i noticed that the passenger side speakers stopped working!? I tried adjusted the settings on the bose unit so that i faded it all to the left though there was only a very quiet crackly noise? The driver side including the sub seem to be working perfectly however. My car is no linger under warranty so can anyone recommend anything i can do or what maybe wrong?? Many thanks. Sonny. haylabamba
Let me guess, you have the standard "Bose" unit? A common problem losing the left channel. Plenty of references to it on here if you search. In the end I got so fed up I changed the head unit (and speakers). Basically, it's a crap unit! H5
Unfortunately, one word sums it up - BOSE. Two options - warranty or purchase item from dealer (not cheap) Or aftermarket unit.

Or my considerably more able assistant will highlight the third option I completely missed! Cheers Stew!

sonny
Does anyone actually know what needs replacing? Is it the whole BOSE unit?
H5
Does anyone actually know what needs replacing? Is it the whole BOSE unit? The fault is with the headunit itself, and is a failing of the output of the left channel. A repair (it's a Clarion unit) or replacement should fix it.
