martinmac
Sounds like a fair shopping list. We have a semi regular evening meet at Thurrock services if you fancy a quick blast down the M11. I also stay at the forwentways travel lodge evry two weeks.
Stew
The DC headers are expensive (labour wise) for the gains you get. Remap is a dodgy one. Best to get a piggyback ecu system and find a good tuner. Can't comment on a cam as not heard much about people changing them here The rest sounds good. DJsickboy
Martinmac... you can count on the Thurrock meet, thats ideal. Stew, the remap question...hmm... maybe a Mines ECU then? You lot are on the ball, I only confirmed my membership an hour ago.. hehe I should be working right now but hey some things can wait.. haha
Stew
Not sure about the mines one. Have a search as a there was a post about these before. Utec has seen good results and I know of at least one Haltech stand alone that has been used.

bigphil
Welcome to the forum, if you think your wait is bad we have to wait until June next year for our GTR and its killing me. Forget changing the headers on the car total waste of time unless going forced induction. Flow rates on the new car are much better in relation to the cats so don't expect huge gains from those either. Exhaust and induction will give better sound, better throttle responce and does feel stronger in the midrange. With the money saved on cats and headers get a good suspension setup and change the brake pad material and then you will reap better rewards.
