Well in between all the showers my pads are now fitted :yahoo:

Thanks to Phil for the talk through :thumbs: i'd also like to thank all the kids in the street for offering there help :scare:

I'd like to thank the next door neighbour for trying to con me into doing her pads :surrender:

Ah finally...time to bed them in so see ya soon :thumbs:

the most common mistake with changing pads is people try to remove the caliper :wacko:

 

did you copper grease em

Ah i was going to clean the up but after 15 mins trying to get that bolt out i gave up.

Yes i copper greased them although i'm off to nissan in the morning as numb nuts here has lost the lock nut :headhurt:

Umm think i left it on whilst out bedding them in :wacko:

Just remember to take your lock nut out of your wheel when your done :thumbs:

I'm guessing that every nissan has its own unique lock nut? :wacko:

if not i would have waited till the Scotland run and aquired one there.

Told you it was easy ;)

Yes it was very easy to be fair,just needed a little guidance from Phil(thanks)and i was on my way.

I would just like to say that anybody not sure about changing pads should'nt be worried,i'm a complete numpty and managed to do it as it is very straight forward as soon as you are on your way :thumbs:

Having real difficulty at the moment trying to remove this bolt!

When I was changing my discs last time those bolts were a complete bastard. The fronts were ok because I could get my long torque wrench on to them. The rears were a bit more restricted and I had to use a crappy small ratchet which was about half the length. I almost gave up, but after a load of WD40 and a rest - off they came.
