I do like the Nismos but don't quite think they are wide enough and don't fill the arches as well as some others, is there any way to get them to look more like 10.5 back / 9.5 front?

Two options. Spacers - perhaps 10mm. Or get the 9.5/10.5 sizes - they are available but don't ask me how you get your hands on them or price.

Its not just about the wheel width, its about the offsets. If 10.5 at the rear is the wrong offset it could still sit in the wheel arch.

I think the optimum offset your looking for is about a +22

Dont seem to be that many problems with spacers, but if you ca get away without using them its prob better...

check out http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... gory_id=41 as there are loads to chose from on there...

I suggested spacers because he was saying he wanted the Nismos. I agree with you that if looking at other wheels the offset is key and its always better to get the right offset than fudge it with spacers.

On the other hand, provided you get good hubcentric spacers from someone like Eibach you should be fine. For all the old wives tales about additional wear on the wheel bearings I'm yet to actually find someone who has had a problem.

Agree with Digsy said :) Didnt someone have issues with non hubcentric ones?

There was certainly some problem and everyone naturally blamed the spacers. Can't remember what the outcome was but the non-hubcentric ones are definitely to be avoided.

Have you got a photobucket account? You can use that or if it's an internet pic just right click, properties and copy the address then surround that with the IMG codes in the post reply and make sure there is nothing after jpg.

Or if that's too complicated and my explanation sucks then give it to me to do! :teeth:

Absolutely.

Eibach springs are decent and are good value. Or for full on coilover action a set of KW variant 3s seem to be the mutts nuts.

I'd go very aggressive if running 18s offset wise to make sure the arches are filled and the correct look is achieved.
