RobD7
Guys, Is there anyway the bass of the sub can be independently adjusted from the other speakers on the GT model? I've had a read of the manual and can't see it can but just in case you guys know better!? The reason I'm asking is in the past I've always adjusted the sub on its own because when you turn up the bass you don't want all the speakers taking it as well surely!? IanS16
I agree that in most cars you turn up the sub and not the other speakers but in the zed the sub is a crappy piece of paper! I found in mine that the front speakers provide most of the bass and the sub only gives you a bit of a kick in the back. I also tried replacing the sub with an OK one but the amps couldn't power it! So in short, no you cant change the bass independently!

H5
Fade the headunit forward 1-3, and adjust the bass accordingly so that it doesn't distort. The front speakers don't take full range so shouldn't be being driven too hard.

stanski
This good advice actually folks will have a twiddle with my knobs mind you - on a soft top there is so much background noise it hardly matters I suppose!!
