Ebized
Anyone know how I can delete old contacts from the prompt menu when sending new messages? A number of my contacts have changed their e-mail accounts but although I have changed the 'properties' lists the prompt box always seems to offer an old out-of-date address and that it is usually listed before the current one that I do not always remember. I know I can disable the prompt but I would rather delete the unwanted addresses for speed reasons. Thanks
MrLizard
*puts geek coat on* Right then. If you mean the autocomplete feature in outlook, it is an odd beast, if you want to copy it or delete all of it then: it is located here : C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\.NK2 If you want to delete individual names: How to Remove Individual Names from History List Begin typing the name of the name you wish to remove in the Outlook TO: Field in a new message. Use the arrow key (not the mouse) to select the incorrect name. Hit the Delete key (not Back Space). This will remove the name from the history list. Hope that helps
